Intensive and Critical Care Medicine
Intensive care medicine (ICM) deals with patients requiring comprehensive monitoring and medical support, though they may not always be critically ill. This session can explore the integration of telemedicine within emergency and critical care, as well as the latest therapies for sepsis, including immunomodulatory agents, adjunctive therapies, and repurposed medications. Additionally, it may discuss biomarkers for early diagnosis and prognosis in critical conditions such as sepsis, acute kidney injury, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
