Dr. Dams-O Connor is Co-Director of the Brain Injury Research Center of Mount Sinai, a clinical neuropsychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY.

The Brain Injury Research Center of Mount Sinai (BIRC-MS) has a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and treating the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral symptoms resulting from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) as a result of investigators’ research.

Dr. Wellington obtained her PhD at the University of British Columbia and performed postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School, the University of Calgary, and the University of British Columbia.

Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), which is the most common form of dementia in the elderly and defined by the presence of amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in the diseased brain.

Dr. David L. Brody was named Director of the CNRM, and joined the USUHS faculty in August of 2017. His primary appointment is as Professor of Neurology in the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine. Dr. Brody is a board-certified neurologist with both a research and a clinical specialization in TBI and neurodegenerative diseases.

Dr. Brody’s research focuses on accelerating implications for better diagnosis, treatment and outcomes of traumatic brain injury in civilian and military populations.
